HOW TO SEARCH THE CARD CATALOG

When searching the card catalog it is usually better to enter one or two main words than to enter an entire title or long string of words.

Search - this will return the broadest results and is a good place to start.

Enter your search term (title, author, keyword, etc) in the search box. Tap or touch the search button or press return.

Advanced - choose this option for a very focused search. Using the Advanced Search parameters allows searching by many different fields. Use Branch as one of your search criteria to find books either in Olsburg (MES) or Randolph (BVHS).
*Some fields may not yield complete results depending on how the records were cataloged.

Simple - choose this option to refine your search by category - All Words, Title, Author, or Subject. Enter your search term (title, author, keyword, etc) in the search box. Tap or click the desired category.
